Boy Has Surgery To Remove Eleven Magnets From Penis

An eleven-year-old boy has had to undergo surgery in China because he inserted 26 magnets into his penis.

The boy, whose name was given only as "Pi Pi" may have trouble doing a pee pee after his curiosity got the better of him.

He didn't tell anyone that the magnets were stuck in his penis but when he began to urinate blood, he told others who became concerned for his well being.

The lad was taken to hospital in Wenzhou City, where doctors first of all dealt with the swelling caused by the toy magnets which are known as "Buckyballs".

The magnets had travelled so far up his urethra that they were seen in his bladder during X-rays.

Surgeons performed a delicate operation to recover the 26 magnets, which were conveniently stuck together, although ten of the balls had found their way into the boys bladder.

A hospital spokesperson said that "young boys are curious about their bodies and issues such as this are not uncommon."

The lad will be off school for a fortnight as he recovers from his ordeal but his friends are sure to have some fun at his expense when he returns.
