Pattaya's Floating Market Wins "Must Visit" Award

One of Pattaya's top tourist attractions has been awarded "Must Visit" status by Thailand's Ministry of Commerce.

The accolade puts Pattaya's Floating Market in amongst a prestige group of 75 top tourist attractions in the Kingdom.

The attraction was honoured for its location, cleanliness, facilities, amenities and for the way it treated customers and traders.

The market also promotes OTOP products (One Tambon, One Product), which is a stimulus program aimed act supporting local produce including traditional handicrafts, garments, pottery, fashion accessories, household items and food.

The presentation was attended by Pattaya Mayor Anan Charoenchasri and Banglamung District Chief Naris Niramaiwong.
