Two-Year-Old Forced To Go Parasailing In Phuket

A two-year-old girl has been captured on video parasailing in Phuket.

The story which British newspaper "The Sun" published claims the toddler was placed in the harness with her father as a passerby filmed the scene.

However, it seems the child was far from happy and was in fact terrified during her ordeal.

The incident took place on Patong Beach in Phuket. The report claims the girl was in some distress as she sailed above the sea and sand.

One witnessed told how he was walking along the beach when they encountered a group of men placing the safety harness on the girl and her father, who is believed to be Chinese.

David Carlyle said the girl was no more than two-years-old and was crying. The videos shows the tail end of the flight as the youngster returns to solid ground. The girl is in her own harness, in front of her father, who is also secured with a Thai operator hanging on unsecured to the rear. They appear to be around 75-100 feet above the beach.

It is fair to say, that the operators and parents acted irresponsibly to say the least and begs the question "Is there no age restriction to these activities?"

In July, Roger Hussey, 71 fell to his death whilst parasailing in Phuket as he somehow managed to break free from his harness.
