New Lottery Ticket For September's Draw

Thailand's new lottery tickets will go on sale for the September 1st draw.

The new sized tickets will cost 80 baht each as opposed to the two piece current offering, with the size being reduced somewhat, which makes it easier to store in your wallet.

The Government Lottery Office stated that the new ticket is cheaper to produce and will save over 100 million baht per annum on printing costs.

Additionally, the new offering comes with a QR code, making it tougher for counterfeiters to replicate the design. Tickets can be checked for authenticity using a scanning machine.

However, there will however be no changes to prize money on offer.
