Pattaya Tunnel To Open On August 25th

Well it appears that the long awaited opening of the Pattaya Tunnel will indeed occur on the 25th of August at 15:10.

Communications Minister Akhom Termphitayaphaisit will do the honours, presiding over the event with speeches and of course the big moment itself, when the tunnel will be open for public use.

The ceremony will commence at 14:00 so if you're there on time, you will have to wait for an hour and ten minutes to witness the grand occasion.

The tunnel has of course been delayed for months and even had to undergo repairs before it was ready for use but now people in Pattaya will finally see the tunnel being utilised. Or will they.......
