200 Immigration Staff Moved to Bangkok Airports To Meet Demand
Following the debacle at immigration desks at Bangkok's two international airports, the authorities have announced that 200 additional staff will be attached to Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports.
The move follows chaotic scenes, mainly at Don Mueang Airport, where passenger were queueing for up to five hours to get through security gates upon arrival.
The additional staff have been mobilised from immigration offices around the country.
Let's hope that the process improves dramatically but also that services elsewhere are not affected by the move.
