Pattaya Drug Users Wanted By Korean Police
When police arrested two Korean men living in Pattaya, during a drug raid, they soon discovered their efforts were worthwhile, for the pair were wanted in their homeland for more serious offences..
Tourist police raided a condo where Sang Tae Sor, 30, and Hun Sol Jeon, 34, were residing. They were following up reports that the pair were participating in the taking of illegal narcotics.
Inside their Phratamnak abode, they found a quantity of ice or methamphetamine. The men were asked to provide urine samples, which proved positive and were swiftly taken into custody. However, the men had a darker secret, which came to light when police did background checks on the duo. Sor was wanted in Korea in connection with illegal sex trade activities and Jeon was being sought on fraud charges.
The two of them had been hiding from the Korean authorities in Pattaya but will now be deported to face the music in Korea.
