Lottery Vendors Warned About Packaging And Over Pricing
The Government Lottery Office (GLO) has said it will be carrying out inspections of sellers accused of packaging tickets.
Vendors have been warned that they will lose their ability to sell lottery tickets if found to be doing anything underhand.
The notice was given as the GLO prepare for the launch of the new lottery ticket in September.
GLO board member Lt Col Nhun Sansanakom and office spokesman Thanawat Polwichai met with inspectors to obtain feedback regarding a number of matters concerning the sales of lottery tickets.
High on the agenda was the issue of vendors inflating prices. However, the GLO are looking for offenders, who if found to be guilty will lose their sales contracts.
The statement also confirmed a new design, which will safguard against counterfeit tickets.
Watch out for the new lottery tickets next month.
