Man Tried To Exchange Counterfeit Dollars In Pattaya

People in Pattaya have been warned to be aware of forged dollars following an incident at a money exchange kiosk on Sunday morning.

An Indian man, identified as Mr Singh Gauray, approached the kiosk with around 1,200 fake US dollars, in an attempt to exchange the counterfeit notes for Thai baht.

Ms Marinee Dee-ubon, who operates the kiosk at the entrance to Soi 7, alerted police, which led to the man's arrest. Source: ThaiPBS
