Elderly Nun Attacked By Huge Python In Rayong Toilet

Do you have a fear of snakes?

If so, imagine your horror if you went to use the toilet and just as you were comfortably seated, a giant python took hold on your leg in its mouth and began wrapping itself around you. That is exactly what happened to a Buddhist nun, when she visited the loo in a temple in Rayong Province. Chin Darachan, 85, who is just 120 centimetres in height, was heard screaming for help Wat Pak Praek Temple on Sunday morning. Monks, assisted by others dashed to her aid, where the found the monstrous snake trying to kill the elderly lady.

Thankfully, they arrived in time to save her. She was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.

The snake was released back into the wild, where hopefully there are no toilets for it to hang around.

Although pythons are not venomous, the do possess a fair set of teeth. They have four rows of back curving teeth in their upper jaws, with a further two in the lower jaw.

They can give a nasty bite and of course, kill their prey by compressing and crushing until the victim cannot breath and suffocates.
