Video Shows Horrific Mauling By Bear On Drunk Man
A man has been attacked by a bear at a Phetchabun temple after he entered an enclosure where the bear was kept.
The Thai man, is believed to have been drunk at the time and was soon on the receiving end of a horrific mauling from the creature.
The attack lasted around 15 minutes as bystanders were helpless to prevent the onslaught.
A video shows the man being bitten and dragged around like a rag doll inside the large pit as onlookers screams echo around the scene. Pitiful efforts at prodding the bear with a metal pole and throwing a bucket of water over the animal. did nothing to abate the assault.
The bear “Jao Kaew” dragged 38-year-old Fon Phromlat into an area away from public view before its keeper arrived to rescue, the now unconscious man.
He is pulled from the enclosure and dumped into the back of a pick-up bed, which rushes him off to obtain medical assistance. Amazingly no one goes with him.
It appears the incident occurred following a monk's advert saying he was giving away wild boar. Fon decided to jump into the enclosure to get himself a boar only to be faced by one of two bears, kept in the grounds of the temple.
Please note the video contains horrific footage of the attack and is not for the feint-hearted.
