Holland Face Denmark In Women's European Championships.
England's ladies crashed out of the European Championship at the semi-final stage last night, losing 3-0 to hosts Holland.
Coach Mark Sampson said the girls were devastated following their exit, which is the second time in succession they have been defeated in the semis, having lost in the 2015 world cup to Japan courtesy of an own goal.
Goals from Miedema (22), van de Donk (62) and an own goal by Bright (93), sent the Lionesses packing and still seeking their first major trophy.
Holland will face Denmark in the final after the Danes knocked out Austria. The match finished 0-0 after extra time.
Austria missed their first three penalties, giving the Danish ladies the advantage. The final will be played on Sunday August 6th in Enschede, with Holland being firm favourites to lift the trophy.
