Thai Team Wins Prestige Robot Tournament In Japan
A team of Thai students have won a prestige world title at a robotics competition in Japan.
Thailand entered two groups to compete alongside 400 teams from 40 nations around the globe.
After four days of gruelling competition, one of Thailand's entries took the spoils in the RoboRescue category, where they simulated a search and rescue operation, over difficult terrain and a variety of obstacles.
Teams from 38 countries did battle in the category, which saw a combined effort from the Rongkam School in Kalasin Province and Germany's ROM team, taking the glory.
Well done to the students for a fantastic achievement.
