Have A Fab Day Out At Splashdown Action Park
Splashdown Action Park in Pattaya is an ideal place for those of you who like something a bit different.

The park is located some 30 minutes from Pattaya, on Highway 36 and It replicates many of the activities and games seen on the ever popular "Wipeout" TV Series, first shown in the USA back in 2008 and now available in dozens of countries around the world.
The park offers wonderful activities that will test your adeptness and courage to the limits. Are you up for it?
Start by challenging your friends in the "Gladiator Zone", squaring up to each other using giant jousting sticks as you stand precariously on a narrow platform. The loser will always end up in the drink, should they take a hit that knocks them off the podium.
The hilarious game requires balance, strength and a fair bit of luck if you are to be victorious.
We have all witnessed the "Big Ball" game in Wipeout, where contestants have to run across a number of huge rubber balls, which are wet and slippery. At Splashdown, you can take on this challenge but very few will succeed.
Of course there is more laughter to be had, should you and your colleagues end up falling into the water below. Whether you are a participant or an onlooker, this attraction will provide amusement for all.
If you have good balance skills, then try the "Wrecking Balls". It appears on the face of things to be a simple process but again, most will end up swimming back to the sides to try again.
The aim is to walk across a narrow platform and avoid the huge wrecking balls being aimed at you from the side. Not an easy task. Bubble Football is a craze that swept the UK and Europe but is probably better suited to the warm climate of Thailand. You are encompassed in a massive inflatable bubble, with only your legs protruding outside the orb.
The arena is wet, and thus players slide around as they try to kick the ball from one end to the other and put it in the back of the net. It can be played one on one or as teams and generates endless hilarity.
Across the other side of the venue is "Zorb Mountain". One or two people can get inside the water filled transparent ball, before it is rolled down the hill. But don't panic, for you are safely trapped between a cushion of air as the ball trundles down the slope.
The latest attraction is the 25 metre water slide, which will have your heart racing. Climb the stairs of the three storey platform, pluck up the courage to throw yourself down the slide, before the arch at the bottom fires you high into the air.
This one is certainly not for the feint hearted but it will provide you with thrills galore. From the same platform, you can jump onto the massive airbag below. Select from one of three levels, depending on how brave you are, and land in the centre with grace, if you can.
The levels range from four metres to a scary 12 metres. The park's staff will demonstrate how the jump should be performed, whilst offering advice at the lowest level, before participants brave the dizzy heights of the second and third platforms.
Fancy learning to drive a Hovercraft around a land and water course? At Splashdown, you can do this either with an experience operator or by learning the skills and giving the course a go on hour own.
The boats float on a cushion of air and can go almost anywhere.
Try a 360 degree spin for the ultimate sensation and the vehicles sprays water into the air and passengers hang on for dear life as the craft hits speeds of 35 mph.
