Hilarious Video Of Would Be Robbers Goes Viral
A gang that entered a gold shop in Malaysia were left with red faces as security cameras captured their feeble efforts at robbery but afforded them the privilege of being internet sensations.
The video, which lasts 42 seconds, depicts the team attempting to break the toughened glass of display cabinets in a gold shop near the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
As hard as they tried, they failed to breach the reinforced glass, which would lead to a successful heist. The shop owner posted the video online, resulting in over five million views on Facebook alone, completing the humiliation for the raiders.
The would be robbers donned masks, which were ideal for hiding their mortified faces more than anything else. As employees ran for cover, they pounded the counter but their hammers just bounced off the protective surface.
Two of the gang acted as lookouts, with one appearing to be in possession of a gun. But unknown to the crooks, the glass casing was "bullet proof" and they had little chance of a successful mission.
As the alarm sounded, the gang got cold feet and departed the scene of the crime before cops arrived.
Police are hunting for a total of six people in connection with the attempted robbery.
They should be easy to find, for when questioned, their faces will turn bright red with embarrassment.
