Police Raids Prove To Be Successful In Pattaya
District Chief Naris Niramaiwong's and his team had a very successful night's work or rather morning's work, when they raided a premises in Soi Bongkot, in cemtral Pattaya.
The force entered Sam Singh Tomboy and Model Pub in Soi Bongkot, where they discovered 300 guests drinking and dancing the night away. However it was four in the mourning and well past closing time.
Fourteen of those caught were under age with 32 testing positive for drugs.
Officers found over 100 bags of "Ice" In addition and almost 20 bags of Ketamine in a locker.
No one owned up to owning the drugs so the manager was charged accordingly. It also transpired that the manager was not in possession of a licence, which was added to the charges of serving underage people, permitting the sale of drugs on the premises and allowing customers to use those drugs.
The raid followed after members of the public made complaints about the venue.
Some of the previous raids were not so successful or pointless, such as the bursting in on a bunch or grannies playing cards in their own home.
But the chief will be delighted with the latest bust.
