Till Death Do Us Part
A wealth man in Brazil has caused quite a stir of emotions when he decided to bury his expensive Bentley car, so that he could drive about in the afterlife once his time of earth was over.
The media were obviously attracted when they got hold of the story but it was mainly negative and abusive as he was heavily criticised for his actions.
Many deemed him to be extravagant or selfish asking why he could not donate the car to charity. Others asked "How out of touch with reality is this guy?"
But as the media hype hit its peak, Thane Chiquinho Scarpa hit back. Standing at the side of the specially dug grave he revealed the real reason he wanted every news agency to cover the story. Why he wanted a reaction from the public, which is - pure genius.
He asked "Why all the drama? Why am I being condemned for burying my car, when every day we see people take things much more valuable than a Bentley to their graves?
"They bury hearts, livers, lungs, eyes and kidneys.
"We have so many people requiring transplants to save their lives and yet people take their organs to their graves with them."
The man went to extreme lengths to make his point and it is a valuable one - isn't it?
Consider it. People got upset because a rich man wants to be buried with his car but are happy to watch valuable commodities be lost every day.
Oh and the million dollar vehicle did not get entombed
