Speed Signs Erected At Pattaya Accident Hot Spot
An accident hot spot in Pattaya has been addressed as the authorities have erected new speed limit signs to deter drivers from breaking the law.
Workers put warning sings up on the road that runs parallel to the railway line, stating the enforced speed limits. The signs also displayed white arrows on red backgrounds to inform drivers of which way they should be travelling, to discourage motorbike riders from driving against the flow of traffic.
Illegal turns are also a known cause of accidents in the area but speed seems to be the main concern and target for the operation.
Possibly speed cameras would also be a method of reducing accidents and saving lives.
