Plans For New Football Stadium Proposed
The Football Authority of Thailand (FAT) have announced plans to build a new 50,000 all seated stadium as they plan to develop the game in the country.
The new stadium would likely be located on the outskirts of the countries capital city, Bangkok.
There is no date for completion of the new arena as at present is but an idea that needs approval, land to be provided for the purpose of building the new venture and of course, a design.
It is unclear why the country requires a new stadium for they already have the near 50,000 capacity Rajamangala Stadium, built for the Asian Games in 1998.
Of course it is more than just a football stadium, catering for athletics too, so it is possible that FAT want a dedicated arena for the game of football.
