Thai Students Win Five Medals At Physics Olympiad In Indonesia
Students from Thai secondary schools have won a number of medals at the International Physics Olympiad in Indonesia on Sunday.
The winners were named as Athikhom Vanitchakul, Siraphop Klinkhachorn, Nathanicha Merin, Tisanapon Mungmeepruet and Patin Inkaeo.
Collectively, they took home two gold and three silver awards, which is fantastic for the students involved.
The golds were secured by Tisanapon Mungmeepruet from Mahidol Wittayanusorn School and Nathanicha Merin from Triamudomsuksa School.
Silver medals were presented to scholars from Triamudomsuksa School.
The medal winners will also receive scholarships from the government, which will permit them to continue their studies to the highest level in Thailand.
The event is held annually and is in its 48th year.
