Dr Dolittle Technology Could Be With Us In Ten Years
How often have you said something to your dog and wished it could answer you in a way you could understand?
Well according to internet retailer Amazon, this technology is not that far away.
Amazon claim they are investing in technology that will allow pet owners to actually have a conversation with their pets and no the date is not the 1st of April.
There is no doubt that if it were possible, there would be huge demand for such technology but are we really that far advanced?
One report claims that the amount of money spent on our pets suggests demand would indeed be high. Because of this, it is only a matter of time before a breakthrough comes and pet speech will be available.
But how would you react if the family dog thought you were an idiot and was happy to inform you of this fact?
Or if you came home, lay down on the sofa after a hard day at work and the mongrel dog walks up, pushes its nose under your hand and says "The wife and the milkman had a good time when you were out".
Apparently there is translator in the form of a free app that claims to be able to convert human chat into cat talk. It is available from Apple and Android but has mixed reviews
One user said his cat appeared to be tortured and baffled by the cat sounds coming from his phone stating it was "scared sh*tless". Another said her cat loves it when the app translates "I love you" into cat talk.
So if you wish to talk to your pussy, go and download the app now and let us know how your moggie gets on.
Dog lovers, well its only ten years away.
