West Ham have agreed to sign Bayer Leverkusen's Javier Hernandez for £16m. The 29-year-old Mexican striker will undergo a medical before putting pen to paper.

Hernandez hit the net 39 times in 76 appearances for the German club.

The Hammers are due to complete the signing of Stoke City's Marko Arnautovic in a deal worth close to £24m.

Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci has departed Juventus in favour of AC Milan. The Milan club have spent £160m this summer so far. Bonucci, 30, set them back £35m.

Aberdeen are through to the third round of the Europa Cup, as two second half goals from Stewart and McKay-Stevens gave them an excellent 2-0 victory over Siroki Brijeg in Bosnia last night. The Dons go through 2-1 on aggregate and will now face Apollon Limassol of Cyprus.

In tonight's matches, Sweden face Russia and Germany will meet Italy.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has resigned himself to the possibility that he may only land one more summer signing, claiming clubs are asking for inflated prices for players.

He said he is a manager who is used to paying big money for big players but now clubs pay big money for good players.

United have spent £75m so far, bringing in Victor Lindelof from benfica and Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
