New Features To Be Added To Google's Homepage

Google will soon introduce a Facebook styled news feed to its homepage.

The new feature will display news, videos and music, with the selection being based on the users previous searches.

A "follow" button will be added, which will permit users to add items to their feeds that they are interested in.

Google is the world's most popular search engine and has huge potential to increase its following but part of its success could be down to the simplicity of the homepage. With added features, only time will tell if it benefits the company or becomes an annoyance to its user base.
