Baht Bus Operators Meet With Authorities

Pattaya could be about to face radical changes to their transport system, in an attempt to improve the flow of traffic in the city and increase visitors.

At a meeting recently, Phaphornan Leuangphanuwat and a team of military people, explained the new polices to baht bus operators.

Describing Pattaya as a "World class resort", they informed the baht bus operators that the new plans would be good for everyone in Pattaya.

However, it is unclear as to what these new plans involve.

We have heard in recent weeks that there are to be new bus shelters and routes are to be extended, which could be what the meeting was about.

We have also discovered that the authorities could be installing a new tram system in the city, which would be a major boost to the city.

And of course, anything that helps improves Pattaya's traffic issues and attracts more visitors is always going to be welcome.
