The bodies of a man and wife, who disappeared in Switzerland 75-years ago, have been discovered in pristine condition.
Marcelin and Francine Dumoulin, who were 40 and 37 respectively, vanished on the 15th of August, 1942. The couple were last seen heading out to milk their cows near the village of Chandolin in southern Switzerland.
Due to the mysterious loss of their parents, their five sons and two daughters were parted and went to live with other family members, the youngest of which is now 79-years-old.
Marceline Udry-Dumoulin, spoke to a Swiss reporter saying "we never stopped looking looking for our parents".
Their frozen bodies were discovered last week, near a ski-lift as a glacier has slowly melted, revealing the missing couple.
Bernhard Tschannen, Director of a local cable car and ski lift company, told Swiss media: "The bodies were lying near each other, dressed in clothing from the second world war period.
"They were perfectly preserved in the glacier and their belongings were intact".
Sadly, the siblings, became strangers over the years, following their parents disappearance.
Officials from the region say there are 280 people listed as missing in the Alps since 1925.
