Fourteen Dead As Storm Reaps Havoc In Vietnam
Fourteen people have died as a result of a tropical storm that swept through Vietnam after inundating neighbours China with floodwaters.
Torrential rain and high winds, battered both countries, firstly China on Sunday and much of Vietnam on Monday.
In Vietnam 500 homes have been wrecked, with roofs being blown off, as a result of the stormy weather.
A ship sank, with the loss of one life and six others being reported as still missing.
Adding to the nations misery, it has been reported that 1,400 hectares of rice crops have been lost.
Roads were swept away in some areas leading to major traffic jams and many flights were delayed.
