Bear Goes For Ride On Motorbike Waving At People As It Passes By

Many of us who live in Thailand have witnessed some odd scenes involving motorbikes and items or pets transported by the drivers of bikes.

It is common to witness dogs riding either as a pillion passenger or up front with their paws on the handlebars.

But it would be doubtful that anyone has observed a bear on a motorbike in the Kingdom.

But in Russia, this scenario occurred on Monday, when a passenger in a car filmed a 250 pound bear riding in a motorcycle sidecar.

Not only that but the beast "waves" at drivers and pedestrians as it travels by them.

The bear known as "Tim" was filmed in the town of Arkhangelsk, and appears completely at ease riding along in the sidecar.

The bear belongs to the Area 29 Circus and was in the company of a trainer, who is also a member of the Polar Wolves Bike Club.

It should be noted that Tim's outings on the bike, are always coordinated with local police.
