Baby Dolphin Washed Ashore In Pattaya
A baby dolphin has been washed ashore at Phratamnak in Pattaya. The dolphin was discovered around 06:00 on Monday morning.
Examiners believe the mammal was less than one-year-old and had been dead for up to a week based on the condition of the carcass.
The cause of death appears to have been preventable, for the dolphin was entangled in a rope and other trash. The rope could have been used by local fishermen it was claimed.
This is why people should not dispose of their waste in the sea. Fishermen should be careful and always take unwanted ropes and nets back to shore and dispose of them carefully.
