Thailand Girls Beat Brazil In 2017 Grand Prix In Japan
It has been a fantastic weekend for Thailand as far as sports in concerned. With the men's football side winning the King's Cup, it is fitting that the Thai ladies volleyball internationalists provided the nation with further joy.
The ladies created history when they defeated Brazil in the 2017 World Grand Prix in Japan on Saturday.
Not only did they win but they did it in style in straight sets with scores of 25-22 and 25-21.
To put the achievement into perspective, you have to consider that Brazil are eleven time champions of the event.
Sadly the ladies lost 3-1 to Serbia on Sunday but that will not distract from their famous victory over the Brazilians
