Flu Epidemic In Thailand
Forty thousand people have suffered from flu in Thailand in 2017, resulting in four deaths.
The Disease Control Department's Director General Dr. Jedsada Chokdamrongsook, advised people to take care of their health by doing exercise and taking plenty of rest.
Other advice given was to avoid contact with sick people and to wash your hands regularly.
However, as flu is generally spread by people coughing or sneezing, the above is not guaranteed to prevent the virus spreading.
People suffering from high fever or chills accompanied by headaches, coughs, sore throats, runny nose, aching muscles or fatigue, should contact their doctor.
