A British man had a lucky escape following a fall at a waterfall on Koh Samui.
Gerard Greenhoff, had been missing for three days, when a local man discovered a motorbike parked near a footpath that lead down to the Khun Sri Falls.
The bike was reported to police who checked the licence plate and found that it had been rented to a man reported missing.
Several hours later, Mr. Greenhoff was located by the side of a stream, in a state of exhaustion. He had not eaten in three days but had managed to drink water from the stream. He had also suffered a broken leg during the fall.
Medics arrives and placed him on a stretcher, inserted a drip and carried him up the steep incline at the remote location.
The rescue operation took over two hours before the victim was taken to hospital.
