Thai Footballer Joins FC Tokyo
A Bangkok United midfielder is heading to ply his trade in Japan's J League with FC Tokyo.
The player, Jakkrit Vechpirom, 20, will join the Japanese club on a loan deal.
Tokyo currently sit 10th in the J1 League, Japan's top flight. They have taken 25 points from their 18 games this season so far, winning seven, drawing one and losing seven.
He will be the second Thai player to grace the football pitches of Japan, following in the steps of Chanathip "Messi Jay" Songkrasin, who plays for Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo.
According to FC Tokyo's website, the loan deal will run until December, 2017.
