Kim Jong-un Attends Missile Celebration Concert

A pop concert in North Korea was put on to celebrate the country's first intercontinental ballistic missile launch.

The nation's leader, Kim Jong-un, was in attendance as the crowd cheered and applauded him as he entered the arena. The event featured dancers and music, with many of those in attendance wearing military uniforms.

The concert was one of many events, which marked the launch of the Hwasong-14 missile, which is thought to be capable of reaching the northern parts of the USA, including Alaska.

The US are far from happy at the launch of the missile claiming it is "new threat to the world". The North Koreans have been ruffling feathers for some time as they aspire to develop a weapon capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.

Not only that but they boast that they have completed the final step in creating a "confident and powerful nuclear state, that can strike anywhere on earth".

South Korea, Japan and the USA have raised concerns about the country's nuclear ambitions and despite warnings from close neighbours China, they seem intent on agitating the US and other nations.
