Rooney Signs For Everton
England international Wayne Rooney, has rejoined his former club after serving Manchester United for thirteen seasons.
The 31-year-old, who was born in Liverpool, says "winning a trophy for Everton, would be the pinnacle of his career."
The player won numerous trophies at United including five League Championships, three League Cups, an FA Cup, the Europa League and of course the Champions League.
He wants Everton to win their first major trophy since the 1995 FA Cup, under the management of Joe Royal, when they defeated Manchester United by one goal to nil.
Rooney has played a total of 119 times for his country, scoring 53 goals in the process.
