The Sanctuary of Truth

Here is a place all tourists and expats should take the time to visit.

The sanctuary of Truth is located in the north of Pattaya in what is known as the Na Kluea area of the city.

It is a religious based structure constructed completely of wood but despite its ancient appearance, it is still under construction.

Work began back in 1981 when expert carpenters began to carve the many figureheads and sculptures. The work is not due to be completed until 2050. However, this is a masterpiece, created in modern times but providing a sense of history.

Once you have completed the tour of this amazing temple structure, you can sit back and enjoy a traditional Thai dance show or fighting display. There are restaurants and bars for those of you who wish to eat of enjoy a cold beer and boats that will take you out for a romantic trip into the shaded lake.
