Lawyer's Rant At Airport Security Staff Backfires
A Thai lawyer has ranted on his Facebook page after officials at Don Mueang Airport, refused to allow him to take two tubes of face cream on board a flight to Chiang Rai.
The officials however, were following rules that are in place for everyone's security but the Thai intellectual, somehow thought he was above the law.
The creams were contained in tubes measuring 120 and 150 grams, which is more than the regulations permit to be carried on as hand luggage.
Officials kindly pointed this out to the gent, who was named as Praman Leuangwattanawanich but he continued to debate the matter, to the point that he asked officials to look after the creams until he returned from his trip but he was informed that the airport did not offer such as services to its customers.
Netizens did not offer much support either as many agreed that the rules are there for everyone to adhere to and for public safety.
Officials eventually confiscated the items when they lost patience with him.
Mr Leuangwattanawanich criticised the security officials saying "We are all Thais and in this together" saying they did not have a Thai heart.
Alas, it is not hearts that are in question but the safety of those on board the plane.
